Crazy Days!

Good gravy the past few days have been CRAZY!  My grandma is here visiting, she arrived on friday, and I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off since then.  Seriously....chicken...head...yeah.

I'm working on a couple short pieces with end of the month deadlines and hoping to get them completed and posted, but don't be surprised if you don't see comments from me for a few days.  I'm trying to go through my flist in the mornings but I just don't have the time to get through everything. 

As a bonus, WOO HOO, I scored over 300 on scrabble for the first time today!!  *happy dance*  Now, you may think I'm a big nerd but I don't care.  I love scrabble!!  I also kicked butt at cards tonight.  Hee!  Tomorrow, it's Yahtzee.  Can you tell my grandma likes to play games?

Okay, going to try to read a few more posts before I crash.  Just wanted to update real quick.  :D

Don't forget to read my drabble. I wrote it for the fall with sx drabble tree and posted it to my journal, bloodclaim and nekid spike. Nah your not a nerd. I love word games as well. Once I scored 500 in scrabble. It depends on where you pot the tiles.

Unfortunately my time in the USA is limited to less than 12 hours and I can't believe that my trip is nearly already over because the time went by so fast. I just hope to talk to someone this evening before heading back to my timezone...

The craziness is really fun actually. We just played yet another round of scrabble. Heh. I can't get enough. My grandma doesn't have anyone to play games with where she lives so when she comes we always play a gazillion. :D

Nice that you are having a visit with your grandma.

My mom is an avid Scrabble player. You two would get along great. My sister plays with her quite a bit. My mom lives 800 miles away but when she comes for a visit, we play.

She is crazy with the Scrabble, she has her very own rules that are consistent with trading letters, but I'm not sure they are official rules. She tries to use all 7 letters and put it on triple word score and she'll sit there forever until she can figure it out. Drives me insane how long she takes for her turn.

Oh, and my big trick on Yahtzee is that when you are trying to get a Yahtzee, you say as you are shaking the cup, "momma needs a new pair of shoes."

I don't know, but it works. Just in case you need a little advantage.

Well, I wouldn't say that I'm avid but it sure is fun! Grandma is the only person who will play it with me, and I'm the only one who'll play it with her so when we get together it's a scrabble frenzy. LOL. We're having a blast!

And I'm SOOOO going to try that "momma needs shoes" thing! I bet that would work! Hee!

Hope you get your multi journal solution figured out. I'm still grumpy for you that someone said something like that. I fumed about it last night. :D

Glad you're having some fun. We all get busy after all, I'm hjust glad to hear you're not sick or anything. I look forward tos ee what you write next dear. I've got two WiP, well three if you count one that sort of needs tidiing up, a clear cut ending. And of course Angfel's Bunnies, and prompts at a few other comms. So, hopefully the muse stays real active. *hugs*
