Part 1:

Spike was in pain, the kind of pain that he hadn’t known existed before the Initiative mucked about in his brain, turning him from the Big Bad, to the weak, pathetic creature he was now.  He left the watcher’s apartment, as if chains could really hold him back, even in his weakened state, and headed for the one place he knew he could find help.  His Sire.  Angel may be a ponce with a soul these days, but he wouldn’t turn down Spike in his condition.
